One mistake last time was to start full-on with no prior training. Did I train this time? Of course not. But I figured I'd start with a warm-up week. 130 km over six days or so, getting used to the effort, the equipment etc.
The first 2 days worked rather well, Saturday I walked to Hochheim, a little over 30 km, today I added another 26, ending in Hattenheim, close to my alma mater.
So far, the legs are holding up, the buggy as well, I'm getting used to the new video camera and the changes in my nutrition. Maybe tomorrow I will remember that it is quite usefull to bring a spoon if you plan on eating porridge ;-)
